Luke 2:11
👂 Listen to the Story
Prophesied centuries earlier, Jesus was born in Bethlehem during a Roman census. Laid in a manger because there was no room at the inn, His birth was announced by angels to shepherds and marked by a guiding star that led wise men from the East. The incarnation — God become flesh — is the heart of the Christmas story.
"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."
— Luke 2:11
An angel tells Mary she will have a baby
A young woman named Mary was visited by an angel named Gabriel. The angel said, 'Don't be afraid, Mary! God is with you. You will have a baby boy, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be God's Son, and He will save His people.' Mary was amazed, but she trusted God and said, 'Let it happen just as you said.'
