Jonah 2:9
👂 Listen to the Story
When God called Jonah to preach repentance to the people of Nineveh, Jonah fled in the opposite direction. God sent a great storm, and Jonah was swallowed by a giant fish where he spent three days and nights. Through this experience, Jonah learned that you cannot run from God's purpose. When he finally went to Nineveh, the entire city repented.

God tells Jonah to go to Nineveh
One day, God spoke to a man named Jonah. God said, 'Go to the great city of Nineveh and tell the people there to stop doing bad things, because their wickedness has come up before me.' Nineveh was a big, powerful city, and the people there did many wrong things. God wanted to give them a chance to change. But Jonah didn't want to go.
